Elon Musk fan criticizes Taylor Swift’s Person of the Year award, saying she does nothing but ‘date a football player’

Taylor sparked controversy throughout 2023 with her Eras Tour and high-profile flings

FANS of Elon Musk have slammed Time Magazine’s decision to crown Taylor Swift as Person of the Year instead of their favorite tech billionaire.

Swift, 33, was criticized for doing nothing but “date a famous football player” in 2023 by scorned Musk supporters.

Time Magazine has faced intense criticism for deeming superstar singer Taylor Swift as Person of the Year

Love her or hate her, world-famous star Taylor Swift was on the tip of everyone’s tongue throughout 2023.

She released two re-recorded albums, went on high-profile dates after her split with long-time boyfriend Joe Alwyn, and, most notably, crashed the Ticketmaster website with her Eras Tour ticket presale.

In recent months, Swift has also sparked a media firestorm for her out-of-left-field relationship with NFL tight end Travis Kelce.

As her profile in Time Magazine puts it, Swift has created her own economy with catchy pop songs, a record-breaking tour, and sought-after merchandise that are all framed by clickable headlines.

But these accolades weren’t enough for some online critics who felt she didn’t achieve anything significant enough to earn the title.

“This is what’s wrong with the press. They just aren’t serious,” wrote one outraged X user.

The user, and many others, shared a picture of Musk behind the iconic Time logo and said he “conquered space, automobiles and protected free speech.”

Musk supporters flooded his app X to list his achievements and voice their anger at the decision.
