The 27-year-old musician and actor and his wife, actress  Priyanka Chopra , are in India to celebrate Holi, a Hindu festival celebrated across India to mark the beginning of spring.

The traditional Hindu holiday, also known as the “festival of colors”, is celebrated across the country and includes singing, dancing and people splashing colorful water and powder on friends and relatives. their family members.

It is not surprising that the Holi festival is grand and fun. Nick and Priyanka’s Holi celebration  (which, as Jonas noted on Instagram, will happen soon, as the annual two-day festival takes place on March 9-10 this year) looked even more stunning in the photo.

After sharing several photos of him and  Chopra beaming  while covered in pigment, Jonas shared a few professional portraits his wife took in honor of the occasion.

“She makes me laugh so much.  #holi ,” Jonas captioned the beloved portraits, taken against a bright pink backdrop.

Chopra shared  some of her own Holi photos, including some colorful shots of Jonas, which she captioned: “And that’s how it was done!”

Apart from sharing another picture from the couple’s pink Holi photoshoot, Chopra also shared a few pictures taken with her family members during the same shoot.

For those unfamiliar with Holi, the festival holds incredible cultural significance.

According to  HoliFestival.org, “Celebrating the various legends related to Holi reassures people of the power of truth as the moral of all these legends is the ultimate victory of good over evil” .
