Ignoring Mbappe, Messi and Neymar choose the player they like to play with the most at PSG

Not only Mbappe, another star is also becoming the focus at PSG and has also received special attention from Messi and Neymar.

Although PSG in the post-Messi and Neymar era has encountered many problems, they are gradually achieving good results recently. Most recently, Luis Enrique’s team defeated AC Milan 3-0 to climb to the top of Group F of death in the Champions League.

While Mbappe shined with the opening goal, another PSG star also left his mark in this match. That was 17-year-old midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, who scored a double assist and was named the best player in the match.

Under coach Luis Enrique, Zaire-Emery is given more opportunities to play and grow. But in reality, the performance of the midfielder 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 2006 was not a spontaneous phenomenon but was predicted in advance.

Even that comes from PSG’s former big stars Messi and Neymar. According to Le Parisien, these two former South American stars are very impressed with Zaire-Emery’s talent. They even ignored Mbappe to choose a teenage junior to join the team on the training field.

“Messi and Neymar appreciate Warren Zaire-Emery. They regularly choose him in the team to play PSG training matches. This South American duo wants to have the best quality teammates around.” French newspaper revealed.

And it’s clear that Messi and Neymar were right about Zaire-Emery’s talent. At the age of 17, the French player is taking up a place in PSG’s midfield instead of experienced seniors like Carlos Soler or Fabian Ruiz.

Statistics show that Zaire-Emery has made 11 appearances for PSG this season, including 10 more starts than last season under Galtier (9 times). During this time, the 17-year-old player contributed 5 assists, 3 of which were recorded in the Champions League – tops in the tournament.
