DAVID BECKHAM is reportedly in line for a surprising new job at Manchester United.
But that’s only if the Qatari takeover bid led by Sheikh Jassim is successful.

United have been up for sale for almost a year under the Glazers.
They want £6billion to leave Old Trafford.
And the club’s future is still in limbo with no interested party yet to meet that valuation.
Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe remain the frontrunners to invest.
The latter is ready to become a minority partner, allowing the Glazers to retain control of United.
While Sheikh Jassim wants to do a full takeover deal at £5bn.
And should his bid be successful, he will offer Red Devils legend a high-profile job.
Beckham dropped a huge hint over United’s future at the Qatar GP on Saturday.
Fans took his words as backing for Sheikh Jassim.
And talkSPORT claims Beckham will be offered an ambassadorial role at Old Trafford should the Qatari royal take over.
Becks was given a similar role when the Middle Eastern country hosted last year’s World Cup.
But he isn’t the only one lined up for a job, with Sheikh Jassim reportedly planning to make several other United legends club ambassadors too.
