He comes back, he plays, he trains. He’s never disrespected anyone for that. He’s passionate,” Henry added. This statement reflected Henry’s respect for Mbappe’s commitment to the sport.

“Should he go abroad? I’ll be honest, I thought he was going to leave, I think everyone thought he was going to leave.” He acknowledged that Mbappe had the opportunity to extend his contract but chose not to, at least initially. Despite all the uncertainty and speculation, Henry commended Mbappe for one trait: his unwavering passion for the game. Henry also addressed the criticism that had surfaced around Mbappe during this period of uncertainty.

Henry’s point was clear – Mbappe had the right to honor his contract with PSG despite the club’s desire for him to leave. He had never disrespected PSG or his teammates, always fulfilling his obligations and giving his best to the team. Henry concluded by reaffirming his belief in Mbappe’s commitment to PSG and his continued dedication to the club.
