Under Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, the Marvel franchise has witnessed some drastic changes. In the past decade, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige managed to create an exciting series of superhero films set in a certain timeline.

Starting the Phase 1 with 2008’s Iron Man, Marvel has now reached the Phase 5. Phase 1 to Phase 3 was very crucial for Marvel Studios as it garnered a lot of fans during that period. By Phase 3, the movies seemingly ended the journey of many fan-favorite characters. 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War was an important film as it set up the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. While it contains a lot of blood-pumping action sequences, there was an exciting scene that was removed from the movie at the last minute.

As of 2023, actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is one of the most important characters in the MCU. Fans have seen Doctor Strange in many intense fights, however, there was one action scene that certainly would’ve been insane but it was removed from 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. In April, Cumberbatch appeared for an interview for BBC Radio 1 and recalled,
“Yeah, I was a bit, we both were, it took a long time to splurge those spliced costumes together. It was an amazing moment, and I think I definitely came out of it better than ‘Iron Strange’ or ‘Doctor Man,’ the other guy, ‘Strange Man.’ I definitely came out of it better. I mean, having a bit of that outerwear on you, it’s like, it’s very, very, very cool. I would love to have seen what that combination of wizardry and that tech would do as well. Bring it on.”
Basically, Kevin Feige tried an experiment where Doctor Strange dons the iconic Iron Man armor. This combination would certainly make Strange a very powerful character in the universe.
Will Kevin Feige re-use this idea?

With actor Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark out of the franchise, there are chances that Marvel once again thinks about this collaboration as Iron Man was an iconic character and there is no doubt that fans are missing him. So, will fans see this happening in the future? Only Kevin Feige will decide.
For now, Strange plays a pivotal role in the franchise. The character was first introduced in 2016’s Doctor Strange, which was a part of Marvel’s third Phase. The Marvel’s latest Phase primarily focuses on Kang the Conqueror.
Right now, all eyes are on Loki‘s Season 2, which is set to release on October 6th, 2023. Kevin Feige’s MCU is all set to expand with some exciting projects like The Marvels, Captain America: New World Order, and Ironheart, which are currently in production.
