“Things are being worked behind the scenes.”
Gal Gadot has opened up on her future with DC following the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3.
Late last year, fans were given a disappointing update when new DC bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran decided not to move forward with director Patty Jenkins’ plans for a third Wonder Woman movie.
While the movie didn’t align with the studio’s new direction, Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot has hinted that things may not be over for the franchise.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Gadot said: “Things are being worked behind the scenes, and once the right moment arrives, you’ll know about it.”
Despite news of the cancellation, Gadot said she is busy working on her own projects, and that she feels empowered to develop stories of her own.
“To me, starting and developing stories that I’m passionate about is an incredible thing. The fact that I don’t have to sit still at home and just wait for the next offer is something that makes me feel empowered. I enjoy doing it, it keeps me alive,” Gadot told Total Film.

“I’m not only going to do my own projects,” Gadot explained. “I’m going to work as an actress-for-hire still. But the fact that I can go ahead and tell the stories that I’m passionate about – from ideas that I conceived, or from ideas that I find fascinating from people that want to partner with us – it’s an incredible thing. [It’s] something that I’m so grateful for and I am definitely going to continue that because it’s worth it. I’m very, very excited and humbly proud.”
Meanwhile, Gadot recently addressed her surprise return to the Fast & Furious franchise in Fast X, saying: “They have a special place in my heart and it’s very exciting.”
