Joe and Jill Biden arrived on Friday at the Lake Tahoe home of the president’s 2020 rival Tom Steyer – for their second vacation this month.
The $18million property is the vacation home of the billionaire climate investor and his wife Kat.
Biden, 80, and his scandal-hit son Hunter, 53, showed up to the three-acre waterfront estate separately.
The six-bedroom Nevada retreat is described on the property listing site Redfin as ‘one of Lake Tahoe’s finest lakefront properties and the pinnacle waterfront estate within the gated Glenbrook community.’
The mansion boasts a lakeside gazebo on the shores of Glenbrook Bay, manicured lawns, cozy fireplaces, and instant access to the sandy beach below.

The estate is owned by billionaire climate investor Tom Steyer and his wife Kat
Steyer, who challenged Biden to the 2020 Democrat nomination, bought the property, built in 1968, for $15 million in 2007.
The White House confirmed that the Biden’s will pay for their time at the property, but declined to elaborate on how much the trip will cost.
‘The First Family is renting a private home for their stay in Lake Tahoe,’ a statement read.
‘The home belongs to Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor. The First Family is renting the home for fair market value.’
The president and first lady Jill Biden arrived in Nevada aboard Air Force One with first daughter Ashley Biden, granddaughters Maisy and Naomi, who are Hunter’s daughters, and Naomi’s husband Peter Neal.
Hunter, his wife Melissa Cohen and their 3-year-old son Beau ‘flew separately on a commercial flight’ and were ‘already at the residence awaiting the rest of the family,’ according to the White House.
Steyer is a co-founder of the Galvanize Climate Solutions investment fund and rose to fame after spending about $10 million financing a publicity campaign advocating for the impeachment of then-President Donald Trump shortly after he took office in 2017.
Biden will take a break from the holiday to visit Maui on Monday as it reels from the devastating effects of wildfires that has 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed more than 100 people.

The president had drawn criticism for his response to the crisis, even offering several ‘no comment’ responses to reporters.
The president had been at his Delaware vacation home earlier this month.
The $2million home in Rehoboth Beach has recently undergone security upgrades by the Secret Service.
The couple spent a week relaxing, riding bicycles, going to the beach and even went on a date night complete with dinner and a movie.
