Get ready, Swifties! Liverpool is gearing up to welcome Taylor Swift with open arms (and possibly some sparkly outfits) as her Eras Tour rolls into town.
The excitement kicked off with the unveiling of a stunning mural of Taylor at The Phoenix Hotel in Kirkdale.
The mural features Taylor in what appears to be the Lover era outfit, a fitting tribute for the first night of the three-show residency at Anfield Stadium on June 13th, 14th, and 15th. The Phoenix Hotel has hinted at three days of Taylor Swift-themed fun, with more details to come.
But the Tay-tay takeover doesn’t stop there. Local businesses are getting in on the action, and Liverpool City Council is throwing a full-blown welcome party for fans. Expect workshops, information stands, and even a free “Tay Day” at the University of Liverpool.
It’s clear Liverpool is ready to paint the town red (and maybe some pink and sparkly blue) for Taylor Swift’s arrival.
