Several mock drafts are projecting that Bronny James could land with the Los Angeles Lakers as the 55th pick.
Bronny James isn’t your typical NBA Draft prospect because of his ties with NBA superstar LeBron James.
It’s hard to guess where he will land, but many project him as a late second-round pick should he decide to remain in the draft.
Several mock drafts, such as HoopHype’s, believe the Los Angeles Lakers will take him as the 55th overall pick.
Though it isn’t Bronny’s dream to play with his dad, it has been reported by The Athletic that “team sources say the Lakers are very open to the prospect of helping LeBron fulfill his dream of playing with his son Bronny by potentially drafting him.”
Mock drafts by The Sporting News, The Ringer, and Yahoo! Sports also have James going at No. 55 to the Lakers.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Bronny has over 10 workout invites but said he will only visit a few, including the Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
Bronny averaged only 4.8 points per game on 36.6% shooting, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in his one season with USC.
